Research for the Shadowmark Trilogy

Hello! THE INVASION IS COMING! Sorry to shout, I’m just so excited about the book launch.

In the meantime, I’ve been itching to do a post like this for a while. Of course part of the fun of writing a sci-fi novel is the research. The main focuses (foci?) have been on EMPs, dark matter and dark energy, and survivalist strategies. I spent time researching several other subjects–some of it I used, most of it I didn’t. I’m still researching a few last minute things for Shadowmark, although most of my research for its sequel is complete. Funny how that goes, huh?

I’ll update this page as I find more relevant material. For instance, I haven’t added any of the military or artificial intelligence links yet. I found several, and when I get them curated I’ll post them here.

So scroll on down, find something you’re interested in. If any of the subjects below interest you, chances are the books will, too! (Sign up for book updates in the box at the right.) *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*

See something I missed? If you know of any other interesting websites or books for these or related topics, drop them in the comments!
